I'm sure it's the actual gift that counts. When I was little and didn't want to eat a certain food because it didn't look "right" to me, he would say "but it TASTES good and it all goes down the same way to the same place..." Ah, fathers...and four brothers.

I am a gift bag user because I cannot wrap to save my life! It drives my husband nuts because I am so crafty yet I cannot do this wrapping thing! He does it now since he refuses to have the kiddos open only gift bags at Christmas. Good luck and have a very Merry Christmas!

Right with you, bro! Double grrrrr for me, too. It is the chore I detest the most. Just slap that tape on and forget the fanciness already! It's all going to go in the trash anyway! We have to conserve our energy for more important things is the way I look at it!! : D
I was just struggling with a gift myself, a Star Wars set, curve box and a big pain in the you know what.

Two words: gift bags! And remember - they're pretty under the tree, but presents are all about the gift! (and yes, I'm a woman, just practical)
Lucky for you that it's TOTALLY NOT about the wrapping, but all the love that went into it! (not the wrapping per say, the gift itself!) Even if you were sputtering and frustrated at your uneven ends, the tape, the weird shapes and angles....... :-D Trust me, I am no Martha Stewart when it comes to wrapping either!!! Don't feel bad!
