A Little Bit o' Summer

Summer FINALLY meets Miss Patty Cake!

How about pancakes and hashbrowns for breakfast on your 3rd birthday?
That's what Summer wanted. (May 18)

Carnival 'copter ride.

There's no doubt... mommy enjoyed this more than daughter.

May 27, 2009

Chillin' at Chick-fil-A.

A little speed work on the track at Dick's Sporting Goods...

...and then a bike ride.
Combine these sports with how much she loves to swim
and maybe triathlon is in her future.

Seriously, do you like my new glasses?

Honey, for real, they don't fit.

Summer is so sweet...

And Luke's headstone looks beautiful. You and Nicol did such a nice job with it. I know how hard it was for us to finalize what we wanted on Isaac's headstone. Something no parent should ever "have" to do.

You guys continue to be an encouragement to me in your authenticity about how you are dealing with your loss of Luke, your steadfastness in clinging to our Savior, and the consistent message you convey about grieving with hope.

Thank you for this blog... the Lord is using it for His glory.

How cool to meet Miss Patty Cake. My kids were HUGE fans of her a few years ago when they fell into her demographics. I find myself singing some of her songs occasionally :)

Hehehe, Love the glasses. You can tell this is a Father's perspective, look at all the sport themes, lol. Thanks. In God's Love, sheila

Not sure how I missed this post 20 hours ago, but what I'd really like to know is how come I can't look that cute with my short hair? I guess I need to add the bangs next.

Ask Summer what she thinks? Should I add the bangs? LOL

Great photos.

Yeah, I thought maybe you had taken your blog down. I hope you don't, even though we don't really know each other, I appreciate your advice and wisdom and love seeing pics & other funnies of Summer and will continue to keep Nicol in prayer. In God's Love, sheila
