Prayer : 9808

Anxiety level: ELEVATED

We are still in Nashville and have some things we would like to take care of here before heading back to GA. I just spoke with a realtor, Suzanne, this morning and we will meet with her on Thursday or Friday. In the meantime, she and our friend Linda and maybe Renee too will do a walk-thru at the house and let us know what needs to be done in terms of staging and also to determine a listing price.

I am stressed.

"Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life." (Philippians 4:6-7, The Message)

WE WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR PRAYERS...
...for soul-rest
...for peace
...that we would entrust our cares and anxieties to Him and not try to carry them ourselves
...for good, intentional times with the Lord, so that all the above can actually happen
...for our return to GA as it can be very difficult being at the house
...for strength as we paint, pack, stage and so forth while getting the house ready to list
...that our house would sell quickly
...that the Lord would go before us and prepare a place for us here in Nashville
...for strength to take the next step, and the next
...for fun times with our great friends in GA

...for guidance in thinking thru a suggestion someone made here last week; this person made the excellent suggestion to write Luke's story in more detail; as I told them, it is something I've been thinking about but just haven't really had the strength to do; pray for me as I think thru that and other possibilities, that I would follow the Lord's leading and do all of this in His strength and for His great name

Thank you Lord for the good recording session Nicole had on Friday. We give you praise. Worry is a sin. Ouch, that is what I felt over the summer when we had a guest speaker in and this was his message. I can't begin to convey his entire message but it was very convicting to me. I try to keep my 'worry' in check. Yes, I do still go there, but not for long. We have a mighty, powerful, mountain moving God. And he can and will move your mountain (house). Thank you Jesus. I've printed out your prayer requests and will continue to hold your family and decisions up to our Lord. I pray espcially for Nicole to have rest and peace in leaving GA. Take care, in God's love, sheila

This is my first time visiting your site. I have kept up with Angie's blog and was so saddened when I read about your loss. I just wanted you to know that you have a family in KY (just about an hour and a half north of Nashville) praying for you all as you experience these changes in your lives. God bless!

John 14:16-18

"And I (Jesus) will pray to the Father, and He shall give you another comforter, that he may abide with you forever. Even the Spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him... BUT you know Him for He dwelleth in you, and shall be in you. I will NOT leave you comfortless: I will come to you."

Praying that the God of all comfort and of all mercies will surround you each moment...

Take Care~

Thank you again for sharing God's Word..It must not be easy sharing such deep, real pain with everyone..even those you don't know. But I want to assure you that God is using you to move hearts toward Him..I am one!

Blessings and Grace to you in your deep, real grief..and again Thank You!

Ok--We shall be praying. Just remember...the Lord knew you would be right where you are, right now and He will pave the way. The house will sell and the details will all work out. Believe Him. Trust Him. Lean on Him. He will meet you where you are and take you where you are supposed to go.

We will keep praying...for your mind to be at rest about the details...I can't imagine what thoughts must swirl through your mind when you go home...don't fall prey to the devil's lies and trust that many are lifting you to the Lord!

Blessings!

Count on some prayers in Texas. It is so important that you ask for them the way you did~we don't understand what you are going through, so it can be hard to know what to pray. Thank goodness we serve the one true God and he hears our heart moanings. What an amazing God. As a reader, I want you to be sure that God is glorified as you share your story. You cause me to praise because you remind me who He is. Luke's life is changing mine. Feel that today!
